The 14th Fukuoka International Gift Show 2018 (FIGS), the largest International Trade show for Giftware in Kyushu, takes place over 3 days from Thursday the 7th of June through Saturday the 9th of June, 2018 at Marine Messe Fukuoka.
FIGS facilitates the new measures for business promotions focused on Fukuoka City each time it is held as a platform for the important business interface bolstered by the concerned institutions in Fukuoka City and, in turn, provides the setting for launching the new products into various fields of secondary markets. Moreover, it is widely recognized as a unique trade show, in which you can solely count on the appealability to general public in Kyushu.
Fukuoka is an exchange base city in Asia and thus the FIGS, aiming at promoting business start-up as well as the creation of new businesses as a special foundation area (the National Strategic Special Zones), has a great possibility. Furthermore, concurrently holding of Fukuoka International Beauty Show, dedicated to the industry for business-use cosmetic materials that marks its 7th holding this time around, will have a synergistic effect on the FIGS and considered as a place of the business talks beyond the boundaries. Not only toward Kyushu region, but also Asian market, FIGS is an ideal opportunity for the development of overseas market and information dissemination.
From the bottom of our heart, we look forward to welcome all of your active participations from home and abroad in the 14th Fukuoka International Gift Show 2018.
It is our great pleasure to be able to host the 14th Fukuoka International Gift Show 2018 and the 7th Fukuoka International Beauty Show 2018.
After just 14 years, the Fukuoka International Gift Show has become the largest international trade show in Kyushu, attracting over 20,000 visitors, and is now well-established as an important event for Fukuoka. This year’s Gift Show will be held concurrently with the Fukuoka International Beauty Show, now in its seventh year, after having begun in 2012.
While the rest of Japan experiences declines in population, Fukuoka's continues to grow.
Fukuoka is now known as one of the most vibrant cities in Japan.
Fukuoka has established itself as a leader among Asian cities as a base for creative industries including fashion, design, film and music, and as a nexus upon which people, goods and information converge.
In a city full of vitality and potential like Fukuoka, we hope that these two concurrent trade shows will provide new opportunities for businesses and networking.
We hope that many people from both within Japan and beyond will visit this year’s International Gift and Beauty Shows, and that the two events provide a useful space for global business.
